Golf Courses

•The Pines is our 18-hole par 70 course, a real challenge with many lakes, sand traps, and twisting fairways. Golfers may ride for comfort or walk for exercise. The Ladies' and Men's Golf Associations sponsor weekly golf events and tournaments.

•The Palmetto is our 18-hole par 55 executive course, an exceptional par 3 course. It is ideal for improving your iron game and is home to the couples' "Gruesome Twosome" tourney, which is played weekly year-round.

Golf Activities

Glades Golf & Country Club offers more than 300 organized golf events each year:

Tuesday: Ladies' Day on the Palmetto - 8:30 AM Shotgun
Wednesday: Men's Day on the Palmetto - 8:30 AM Shotgun
Thursday: 18-Hole Ladies' Day on the Pines & 9-Hole Ladies' Day on the Pines Back Nine
Friday: Gruesome Twosome Couples on the Palmetto - 8:30 AM & 12:30 PM Sessions (shotguns) Owners Only
Saturday: 18-Hole Men's Day on the Pines Course with optional skins game

Other events include the following:

•Shootout
•Presidents Cup
•Member/Member
•Member/Guest
•Mixed Scramble with Cookout every Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day
•Both men and women hold various annual tournaments that are open to any owner.

Summer Reciprocal Program

In addition to all of these events, from May 1 to October 31, more than 60 country clubs are open for play to Glades members in our Summer Reciprocal Program. Non-owners who would like to play The Glades during the summer months can purchase the South Florida PGA Golf Pass for access to our two beautiful golf courses.
